We are now in Pucon, Chile and am loving it! Delicious ice-cream and friendly locals. Before we got here we spent a few days in Bariloche, Argentina treating ourselves to a hotel room with shower and TV. We managed to watch a fair bit of trash TV which was fun. You should´ve seen the dirt coming off our feet etc when we had that first shower! The Chilean/Argentinian border was intense with sniffer dogs looking for fruit and dairy products, they do not want any to get into Chile.
Pucon has an iron man contest tomorrow which we´re hoping to see and be inspired by. It also has an active volcano which overlooks the city and looks very impressive.
We are trying out the local hot springs later and then tomorrow we are off to Santiago!

What fantastic photos, especially the one taken in Bariloche. What a totally fabulous place! You both look really well - K's hair is getting longer & longer, and J - when are you going to get that hoop earing?! Really envious of all those wonderful sights you're seeing. The pictures look great I especially like the one of Bariloche and the mountains that looks beautiful.
The coach food doesn't actually look too shabby a lot better than I would have expected!
