Been a busy few days!

Hola!

How are you? I hope you´re good. We´ve had a busy week and are now in Northern Chile in a wonderful place called San Pedro de Atacama. This place is unreal and not like anything else we have ever seen. It´s like a small town from a spaghetti western movie, dusty desert in the middle of nowhere. We got a bus for 23 hours from Santiago which definately felt long this time.

At the start of the week we were in Pucon where we treated ourselves to a night in a hot spring! Then we had one last ice-cream before waving goodbye to Pucon and heading to Santiago.

Santiago is an amazing city, so friendly and vibrant. We heard live music, ate a lot of pizza and wandered around their extensive art galleries. One museum charted the indigenous people from 6000 BC! We especially liked learning about the gorey bits!

We had a day trip to Valparaiso which is Kara´s favourite place so far. It´s this crazy collection of coloured houses perching on steep steep mountains right by the sea. The graffiti is fabulous and the general vibe of the place was very bohemian and chilled out!

Tonight we go out further into the desert to see the stars, which John is really looking forward to! Should be fantastic!
