We have arrived in Buenos Aires and we have not been prepared for the heat which has welcomed us! It is hot here and it is not what we are used too!
Buenos Aires is a beautiful city with wonderful tree lined avenues and buildings which appear a cross between Paris and Rome. The people are friendly and our hostel is very nice and relaxed.
We have had a day walking around the city and seen the grave of Eva Peron and where she made some of her famous speeches on a balcony at Casa Rosada (Pink House). We have also seen many dragonflies flying around the city, which is something different!
Our Spanish is getting us by, and there has not been any moments which have been too embarrassing. The only main one being at the airport when I (John) was trying to get our bags on the shuttle bus to the city centre and Kara was already on the bus, I could not understand what the baggage man was telling me, and Kara had the bus tickets!
Our next plan it to head to Iguazu on the 16th to see the waterfalls, so will hopefully get a blog out around then!
Signing off now, I hope everyone is well and thank you for following our blog, we hope it is keeping you entertained!
Lots of love, John and Kara xx
