Happy Christmas!
I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas! It is very strange for us here as it doesn´t feel even remotely like the festive season. It is hot for one thing and there are the bluest skies you have ever seen! The farm is very relaxed and at the moment we are just trying to help with odd jobs around the farm and building a house out of straw. This has been something John and I have always wanted to do! There are about 6 other volunteers on the farm and they are all very friendly interesting people from all over the world. The farm is completely vegetarian so can be interesting but one things for sure we are eating a lot of fruit and fresh veg.
There is a beautiful river about 20 minute walk away which is gorgeous! It is a very steep decline but well worth the huff and puffs to get back to the farm.
We are sleeping in our tent which is very spacious and cool. The only bother is John has to blow up our mattress at 4am every night as there is this very sneaky puncture we cannot find although we have tried taping it up numerous times!
We hope you have a fantastic New Year!
Loadsa Love Kara and John xx
p.s. Thanks for the comments.

ReplyDeleteThe pictures look amazing as always. I love that river the colour of the water is gorgeous, have you both been swimming in there? It looks very tempting though I'm not sure what wildlife you would be sharing it with!! Take care lots of love Beck and co x x x x
Hope you've managed to sort out that sneaky puncture by now! Bit difficult submerging a double bed in a bowl of water - maybe try sailing it down the river?! Looking forward to hearing how you celebrated Xmas. Wishing you both a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Lots of love, Mum & Pete xx
