We hope this blog finds everyone doing good.
After leaving LA last Thursday we have been on the move pretty much everyday and we are now in a place called Salem in Oregon.
Over the last few days we have been to some very varied places!
We were beginning to get ourselves in shape in San Francisco, climbing the hills, but have since been on the road and gourging ourselves on what we consider very big drinks but they are medium sized for USA, therefore the weight has come back on!
San Francisco was great, it was sunny and we were very lucky to get some great views of the bay area without any fog. We did a tour of Alcatraz Prison, which was amazing, it is a interesting place to visit and very surreal at times.
Once leaving San Francisco we headed back up North and went through some beautiful countryside. Yesterday and today we have been back on the Pacific coast and through the Redwood National Park. It has been stunning, the Redwoods are huge and immense up close, hopefully the photos can do some justice. We are still eagerly awaiting our first glimpse of Bigfoot, this is perfect Bigfoot territory!
Next big town is Seattle, I just hope we can both get some sleep there (... as in Sleepless in Seattle ha ha!!) and then back to Vancouver for our flight home.
