How are you? Hope you're having a good weekend!
We are now in the US of A and settling in for our first night in a motel for a long time. We are in Wilsonville which is in Oregon having driven through Washington after picking up the rental car in Seattle.
We spent a lovely few days in Vancouver and wandered around the shops, coffee shops and beautiful Stanley Park. That was after having a few wonderful days in Victoria on Vancouver Island. We managed to catch a exhibition whilst on the island about the great Canadian artist called Emily Carr, we also managed to see the blossoms which were all out and explore with our wonderful guide (and friend!) Lisa the area north of Victoria.
Today we were on a Greyhound bus from Vancouver to Seattle and because of all the drama with our passports in Jan, the very friendly Customs Officer (very strange, almost unique!!) took our passports to 'look into' them. We spent a few tense moments with the drugs dog and then were finally allowed through, phew!!
So we're here on the final leg of our trip and we're going to try to get as far down the West coast as we can in the next 10 days or so.
