This is our last week in India and we have had a really enjoyable time in Bhagsu/McLeod Ganj!
Over the last week we have had another trip upto the waterfall and relaxed in the sun, I actually managed a quick dip in the water! And I mean quick, the water was like a plunge pool!
We have walked to Dhramasala, which was a beautiful walk, and very steep at times. Dhramasala is basically just one long high street, very hectic and almost like a mini-Delhi in terms of the business of the roads!
There was also a show on at the Tibetan Institute for Performing Arts. This was a great experience as it is one of the main sources of entertainment for the local Tibetans. There was around 500 people crammed into a small hall to watch traditional dances, Indian dances and a few people sing modern Tibetan songs. This was amazing to see, but me and Kara did feel for some of the men singing, as it was at times like a poor audition on X-Factor and the songs were as hard to sing as a Whitney Houston ballad!
Tomorrow (23rd of November) we head back to Delhi for a couple of days and are going to try and do some more sight seeing there, number one on the list is the Lotus Temple!
I hope you are all well and please keep in touch, your comments are great to read!
Love John x
ps the reason why Kara has not wrote is because she is currently volunteering, so I have the task of writing up the blog, hope it was fun to read!
